The Chaos Vortex

THE CHAOS VORTEX:

None of us exist in isolation. We are all enmeshed in the web of life so that often it is impossible to foresee how far, or in what manner, the effects of our every action will be manifested.

Seemingly unrelated happenings, sometimes remote both in space and time, can cause decisions to be made or initiatives undertaken, the consequences of which appear unpredictable.

There are many problems facing today’s world which concern me. Greed, corruption, pollution, manipulation, exploitation, oppression are but a few. But their results and the way they affect the development and behaviour of individuals, the crimes they cause to be committed, the popular uprisings and the revolts and havoc they bring about, are enormous, their repercussions often disastrous.

In ‘The Chaos Vortex’ I have attempted to address, in I hope an exciting and readable way, many of these issues. Genetic modification, euthanasia, media influence, drug addiction, tragedy, passion and love, all play a role in an exploration of the motives, moulding and actions of the characters.

If my novel can make you think and at the same time give you entertainment and enjoyment, then it will have served its purpose.
