BOOK REVIEW
Published in the Southern Highlands News, Wednesday 30th November, 2011.
‘The Chaos Vortex’ by local author Rob Ennever is a remarkable book. Remarkable in that it can be read and enjoyed at two levels. For those of you who want a gripping, page-turning holiday or travel read with a compelling story-line, this is for you! Read on....
Robert Ennever

An inveterate seeker of new challenges, at forty-nine Rob sold his pharmacies, to become a property developer and student of Mid-Eastern History and the Italian language.
Then came the call of the land, where he devoted his time and energy to farming a fifteen hundred acre cattle and wheat property in the Cowra region of New South Wales. Down-sizing nine years later, he started Australia’s first ‘Goosey Gander Geese’ farm, along with a Tukidale carpet-wool sheep stud, on three hundred acres, in the Southern Highlands of New South Wales.
Sinclairs Retreat

SINCLAIRS RETREAT: Over a number of marvellous vacations at Berida Manor in the picturesque Southern Highlands of New South Wales, I had the opportunity to observe and meet a variety of interesting people.
It fascinated me to hear their stories, their successes and failures, their triumphs and tragedies, and to speculate on their motives, actions and outcomes.
SARDINIA, The Brotherhood of Orso

SARDINIA,The Brotherhood of Orso: It is always interesting to observe people’s behaviour, to watch how they react to circumstance, and why? It can be even more intriguing when events unfold in a small, close-knit community.
I have always had a love affair with Italy, its folk, its culture and its history, a country where old traditions continue and reminders of ancient civilizations abound. This is very much the case in Sardinia where superstition and old beliefs still persist, where criminal organizations could easily wield great influence.
